The photographs were part of the Brooklyn Historical Society's Brooklyn Neighborhoods and How They Grew exhibit, circa 1988. Photographs in the collection show street scenes, dwellings, and undeveloped land in the Bedford-Stuyvesant, Flatbush, East Flatbush, Brooklyn Heights, and Sheepshead Bay neighborhoods of Brooklyn.
