Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
The majority of the materials in this collection are stored offsite and advance notice is required for use. Please contact cbhreference@bklynlibrary.org at least two weeks prior to research visit.
All audiovisual materials including cassettes, VHS tapes, mini DV cassettes, mini discs, and AMPEX Grand Master 457 1/4'' reels are unavailable due to technical limitations.
Portions of this collection have been digitized, please contact the Center for Brooklyn History for more information.
If digital surrogates exist, they should be used in place of the originals whenever possible.
Access
Due to sensitive personal information, certain materials in boxes 98 and 100 are restricted. Other materials open to researchers without restriction.
Use
While many items at the Center for Brooklyn History are unrestricted, we do not own reproduction rights to all materials. Be aware of the several kinds of rights that might apply: copyright, licensing and trademarks. The researcher assumes all responsibility for copyright questions.
