Series 1: Alfredo Barone personal papers, 1942-1956, inclusive
The series contains records relating to Alfredo Barone, dating from 1942 to 1956, and includes his alien registration documents issued by the Department of Justice in the early 1940s, a few portrait photographs, and copies of obituaries for Alfredo and his wife, Rosina.
Series 2: Melchisedech Barone personal papers, 1891-1961, inclusive
The series contains records relating to Melchisedech Alfred Barone, dating from 1891 to 1961, and includes certificates, news clippings, and ephemera relating to his practice of medicine in Connecticut and New York, materials that appear to relate to his funeral arrangements, a baptism certificate and copy of the death certificate of his wife, Anna, and one book entitled Gli Animali Della Bibbia el le Lezioni Che Ci Danno by Dr. Riccardo Newton (1891).

The series contains records relating to Rebecca Rowena Barone, dating from to 1941 to 1984, and includes a diploma, certificate, obituary, and her personal calling cards.
Series 4: Alfred Dernier Barone personal papers, 1922-2009, inclusive
The series contains records relating to Alfred Dernier Barone, dating from 1922 to the late 2000s. It includes materials related to his childhood, such as birth and baptismal certificates and programs from performances in which he participated in the early 1930s that were put on by the Gwen Nottage Studio of Stage Dancing on Flatbush Avenue. Also present are materials relating to his education, such as diplomas, yearbook(s), graduation programs, and transcripts. The collection documents his U.S. Army service and includes items and records such as his U.S. Army uniform, military orders, induction and separation papers, and annotated paratroop training documents from Fort Benning, Georgia. Also included is correspondence with his father, Dr. Melchisedech Barone, written during the 1940s, a few personal photographs, and two high school yearbooks and obituary of Alfred's wife, Shirley Lawson.
Series 5: Photographs, 1913-1963, inclusive
The series contains 485 photographs dating from circa 1913 to 1963. The series is almost exclusively black-and-white photographic prints, but also includes several color photographic prints and a small number of photographic negatives. The photographs mostly consist of snapshots of members of the Barone family and friends in largely unidentified locations and show children and adults primarily outdoors and at leisure. The early childhood of siblings Alfred D. Barone, Victoria Barone, and Myron Barone is particularly well represented. Approximately 20 of the photographs are studio portraits, the subjects of which include Melchisedech Alfred Barone, Alfred D. Barone, and Victoria Barone, among others. The series also contains several class photographs, including a wide format photograph of a class at Erasmus Hall High School (1931). Photographs of Alfred D. Barone and Melvin Barone in military uniform and an outdoor group portrait of the 2nd Platoon CO "H" 1st Signal Training Regiment taken at Camp Edison in New Jersey in 1943 are also present. Some of the photographs are dated and identified on the verso and locations include the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, California, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C.
