Scope and Contents

The series contains Kings County covers (envelopes) and related material, dating from 1814 to 2010. Although Snitzer was mainly interested in collecting covers, the letters which were housed in those envelopes were sometimes retained and are included in the series.

The series is divided into nine sub-series, and cross-references between the sub-series are denoted via photocopies.

Of note are two folders of material sent to or from Giovanni and Josephine Giunta (filed under Italy), and immigration records for Luisa Gordon (filed under Hungary).
