Public school records formerly in the possession of the Flatbush Historical Society and later donated to the Brooklyn Historical Society. Items include an account book of the Trustees of School Distric No. 2 in the town of Flatlands for the period 1844 to 1875; a journal of admission records for District School No. 2 in Flatlands for the period 1844 to 1864; and an admission book for Public School No. 23 in Brooklyn for the period 1876 to 1895.
