Abstract
This collection contains materials relating to the Needlework Guild of America and its New Utrecht, N.Y. branch. Items include minutes, correspondence, clippings, stationery and pamphlets. The Needlework Guild of American was established in Philadelphia, PA in 1885 for the purpose of making clothing for children and families in need. As of 2010, the Guild is affiliated with over 170 non-profit charities in the United States and distributes over 200,000 items per year.
