Abstract
A handwritten note from Thomas Latto, a Brooklyn poet, introducing Henry J. McClennan (the son of Rev. Prof. Adam McClennan). The younger McClennan had invented a railroad danger signal, and Latto was helping to promote McClennan and his invention. The name of the note's recipient is largely illegible.
