The Maria S. Randolph property records include tax notices and payments for lots owned by Rudolph in the town of New Utrecht, Kings County.

Historical note

The town of New Utrecht became a section of the borough of Brooklyn when Brooklyn merged with the New York City and was absorbed into the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bensonhurst, Bay Ridge, and Borough Park.

Biographical note

Maria Ann Randolph, nee Stryker, was born August 25, 1849 to Joanna Stryker (d. Sept. 5, 1905) and Samuel Lott. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel and Ellen Stryker and her paternal grandparents were Henry Lott and Maria Bergen Lott. She was married to John Edgar Randolph. Maria Randolph passed away on December 7, 1932 and was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery.
