Abstract
This collection contains a 1686 charter for Gravesend signed by Governor Dongan; a 1741 indenture between Jacobus Stryker and Nicholas Stillwell; a circa 1891 land deed and title searches for property in Gravesend; and a manuscript copy of William H. Stillwell's "Annals of the Town of Gravesend."
Arrangement
Each document is housed in its own folder and the bound volume has a custom housing. The original indenture is in an oversize box but there are access photocopies with the rest of the collection.
