Abstract
This collection includes minutes, rules and regulations, and documents on the appointments of firemen from the Flatbush Fire Company, which was established in 1829.
Historical note
The Flatbush Fire Company was established by the Board of Trustees of the town of Flatbush in September 1829. The town of Flatbush was annexed into what was then the City of Brooklyn in 1894.
Arrangement
This small collection is housed in a single folder with no particular arrangement.
Scope and Contents
The collection includes a bound minute book, loose minutes of meetings, rules and regulations, and appointments of firemen. Also included is one certificate of appointment to the Fire Department of William Algeo, Jr.
