Two handwritten copies of a summons delivered to Martinus Van Alst of Fishkill, N.Y. instructing him to appear before the Surrogate's Office in Queens County, N.Y. for matters pertaining to the administration of the estate of George Van Alst, and the bottom portion of a summons from the Queens County Surrogate's Office to an unidentified individual regarding the administration of the estate of Nathaniel Tyler. Documents date from 1816.
