Abstract
Two land patents issued by colonial New York Governors Richard Nicolls and Thomas Dongan, dating from 1667 and 1685, for the Town of Amersfort (Flatlands) in Kings County. Also included is a commission of appointment to the Kings County Militia issued to Nicholas Schenk of Gravesend, dated 1787.
