Scope and Contents
One bound book used by engineer Wilson Crosby in planning inlet basins, manholes, and walls for the construction of a park in Brooklyn referred to by Crosby as "Brooklyn Park." Includes handwritten formulas and tables for estimating the quantity of masonry required. As no such park in present-day Brooklyn bears the name of Brooklyn Park, the specific park referenced in Crosby's book is not known, though it is possibly Prospect Park, since the book also includes information on manholes in this latter park.
