This folder contains a copy of a petition of the inhabitants of Amersfoort (Flatlands) to Director General Petrus Stuyvesant and his Council of New Netherland, asking aid in building a church in their town, dates at Amersfoort, June 4, 1663, written and signed by Adriaen Hegeman, along with an English translation from 1930.

This folder contains an original document: an inquiry by the consistory of the Church at Nieur Amersfoort as to whether a minister should be called, in conjunction with the churches Midwout and Breukelen, and whether the Church at Nieuw Utrecht should be separated from them. Dated June 3, 1702. Signed by two elders and nineteen others. Attested on April 23, 1708, by Henry Filkin.

This folder contains an original document: a certified copy by Rutgert van Brunt of a declaration of the authorized representative of the six churches of Midwout, Breukelen, Amersfoort, Nieuw Utrecht, Boswijck, and Nieur Jamaico, in regard to apportionment of subscriptions to be made by the said churches, respectively, toward the salaries of thier ministers, Domines Antonides and Freeman, and relating to the rotation of services in the respective churches, done at Midwout on December 27, 1714.
