The Forbes family photographs include five black-and-white photographic prints (three mounted) dating from circa 1920 to 1925.
Biographical note
Raymond and Julia Forbes had three children--Anne McAlpin, Norma Harriet, and William Douglass Forbes. From 1921 to 1946, the Forbes family lived at 293 Sterling Place, located in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. Anne McAlpin Forbes married Kimball A. McMullin in 1941.

Scope and Contents
The Forbes family photographs include five black-and-white photographic prints (three mounted) dating from circa 1920 to 1925. Three of the photographs show each of the Forbes children while they sit on a pony outside of 295 Sterling Place in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. The two remaining photographs are informal group portraits of the Forbes children sitting on the stoop of their home located at 293 Sterling Place. The children shown in the photographs are Anne McAlpin Forbes, William Douglass Forbes, and Norma Harriet Forbes.
