Abstract

The George Dibell papers consist of two documents. The first is the last will and testament of Captain George Dibell, dated April 25, 1721, signed by Dibell and witnesses Samuel Smith, Samuel Smith, Jr., and Eponetus Platt. The second is a document dating from August 10, 1741, verifying that Eponetus Platt was a witness to Dibell's will, signed by Platt and Charles Sexton, Justice.
