This series contains two photocopies of a typescript of Amy Schlagel Federman's master's thesis, "Nineteenth Century Brewery Architecture in America, with Reference to Brooklyn, New York," submitted May 7, 1976: photographs (mostly prints, some negatives) taken for research purposes and for use as visual material in the thesis; photocopies of the photographs; architectural survey forms on Brooklyn brewery buildings; and some handwritten notes on legal paper (damaged). Also contains survey forms, notes, photocopies, and photographs (prints and negatives) for a research project on New York City armory architecture. Also contains 100 Years of Brewing (New York Arno Press; 1974) and a reprint of the original 1903 work, which was a supplement to The Western Brewer.
