Abstract

This collection contains issues from the student newspaper the New Yorker, dating from 1907 to 1922. The paper was published by NYU University College of Arts and Science and School of Engineering students at the University Heights campus in the Bronx. The paper documented campus life, local news, athletics, and other student activities. The collection is extensive but not comprehensive, there may be some issues that were published but are not included in this collection. This collection includes issues in their original print format as well as microfilmed copies. The publication is unrelated to the weekly magazine of the same name.

Historical Note

New York University has had many student newspapers since its founding. The University Heights campus and the Washington Square campus had separate student newspapers until 1973 when the University Heights campus closed.
