Abstract
The Hemispheric Institute Digital Video Library, established in 2005, is a partnership with NYU Libraries to preserve and provide access to the digital library of the Hemispheric Institute. The library is made up of video of political performance practices in the Americas dating back to the 1970s.

The Hemispheric Institute Digital Video Library was established in 2005 in collaboration with NYU Libraries and the Hemispheric Institute. In Spring 2021, the website redirected to the Bobcat library catalog.

The Hemispheric Institute Digital Video Library, established in 2005, is a partnership with NYU Libraries to preserve and provide access to the digital library of the Hemispheric Institute. The library is made up of video of political performance practices in the Americas dating back to the 1970s. The website consists of artist profiles selected for preservation in the digital library. Crawl was limited to domains and subdomains of http://hidvl.nyu.edu/ in order to remain within the collection scope and data constraints. Video was excluded from the crawl.
Robots.txt (a piece of code designed to limit crawler activity within a website) was ignored with the permission of the content owner.
