Title of tapes
Though these tapes are labeled 'Lower East Side' workshop, the processor refers to the event as the 'Tenement Museum' workshop, since the following year's workshop also focused on the Lower East Side neighborhood. This decision was made in order to differentiate between the two years' workshops. The workshop is named the 'Tenement Museum Workshop,' due to the fact that the NYU Public History students collaborated with Tenement Museum staff on their final projects and the event was held at the museum.
