Abstract
Margo Post Marshak served as Vice President of the NYU Division of Student Affairs from 1991 to 2001. The Division's purpose is to offer programming, services, and resources to support students while attending NYU. The Records of the Office of Vice President for Student Affairs (Marshak) contain Margo Marshak's work files ranging in date from 1985 to 2000, which include memos, correspondence, meeting minutes/agendas, planning notes, reports, event fliers, and marketing material. Margo Post Marshak assumed the position of Vice President for Student Affairs in 1991. She remained in that position until September of 2001 when she left for a post at the University of Chicago.

Scope and Contents
The Records of the Office of Vice President for Student Affairs (Marshak) (1985-2000) document the tenure of Margo Post Marshak who served as Vice President of the New York University (NYU) Division of Student Affairs from 1991 to 2001. The following were removed from the collection: one 3.5inch floppy disk of duplicate material, and 2 cartons of duplicates, Board of Trustee minutes, and publications.
About this Guide
Processing Information
Materials were placed in new acid-free folders and boxes. All material in the collection was reviewed for FERPA and employment-related content and either discarded or placed in restricted folders in boxes 55 and 56. 12 blueprints/floor plans for NYU buildings and spaces were transferred to the Preservation Lab for flattening.
