Series III. Governing Bodies, 1949-1984, inclusive

This series includes materials from the governing bodies of WICI and NYWICI (Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other committees, such as the Publicity Committee and Membership Committee, among others). Materials consist of meeting minutes and agendas, election materials, and correspondence. Also included are documents related to by-laws revisions and constitutions. Materials from the national organization and the New York chapter are filed together; in a few files, other chapters are represented (for example, materials on the Los Angeles chapter are filed with the 1959 folder). Topics covered include updates and reports on upcoming and past events, committee reports, membership updates, and board and committee nominations.
