Abstract
Simon Loeb (d. 1975) was a 1908 graduate of New York University School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance, and later the founder and senior partner of the accounting firm of Loeb and Troper. This collection contains materials collected by Loeb while attending the New York University School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance, including commencement invitations, programs, a songbook, a yearbook for the class of 1908, and a banner. Also included is a Commerce Alumni Dinner program listing Loeb's 1962 John T. Madden Memorial Award, as well as a 1968 special issue of NYU's Internal.
Biographical Note
Simon Loeb (d. 1975) was founder and senior partner of the accounting firm of Loeb and Troper. Loeb was a 1908 graduate of New York University School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance. In 1962 NYU awarded him the presidential citation, and in 1966 the Commerce Alumni Association gave him its John T. Madden Award.

This collection contains materials collected by Simon Loeb while attending the New York University School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance, including commencement invitations, programs, a songbook, a yearbook, and a banner. Also included is a Commerce Alumni Dinner program for Loeb's acceptance of the John T. Madden Memorial Award in 1962, as well as a 1968 special issue of NYU's Internal regarding the appointment of John F. Hatchet as Director of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Afro-American Student Center at NYU.

Processing Information
Materials were placed in acid-free folders and box, and described on the collection-level. Fragile materials were placed in protective enclosures within the folder and labeled as fragile. In 2019 the banner was rehoused by preservation and sent to offsite storage.
