Digital surrogates of an album of postcards of Egypt, from a journey in February 1929, compiled by William P. Lincoln and Edith Lincoln. The album also includes around ten gelatin silver prints, some which feature the crew of the Nile cruise taken, and ephemera such as newspaper clippings, passes to antiquities sites and a bill from the Shepheard's Hotel.
This album is part of the Hisham Khatib Collection of igital surrogates of 2,930 photographs and postcards (both individual prints and contained within albums) focused on the Near East, including the Holy Land, Palestine, Jordan, Turkey, Syria and Egypt as well as a very small number from Europe.
